by Kieren Lucas

We start the show off with a recap of what happended two nights ago between Curtis Axel, Payl Heyman and CM Punk

Cody Rhodes vs Curtis Axel (Intercontinental Champion) with Paul Heyman

To start off Main Event, we have a former 2-time Intercontinental champion vs the current Intercontinental champion. Could a win for rhodes get him a tittle shot somewhere down the line? A win for axel would keep his momentum going towards his match with CM Punk at the upcoming PPV, Night of Champions. To start things off, Rhodes hits some side headlock takeovers and some decent techinical wrestling until Axel rolls out of the ring. Axel goes back jnto the ring only to have a armbar aplied to him by Rhodes. Axel gets out of this predicament by hitting a punch straight to the face of Rhodes, as Axel is now in controll of the match. He hits a clothesline which sends Cody over the top rope and Axel follows that up by throwing Cody into the barracade. Back in the ring now and Axel hits a scoop slam and heads up to the second rope, hits a fist drop and then applies a chinlock. As Cody gets out of the chinlock Axel immediately hits a clothesline to the back of his head. Axel goes for a neckbreaker but Cody counters it and hits a beatifull moonsault and clotheslines to Axel and gets him on the ropes and hits menerouss kicks to the stomach. Cody goes for the disaster kick,t Axel ducks, but Cody hits Axel with the Alabama Slam. Axel kicks out at 2 and then Axel hits a swiniging back body drop. Cody whips Axel into the corner and hits a MUSCLE BUSTER and covers but Axel kicks out at 2. Then Axel hits a modified neckbreaker for the win.

Now with the Real Americans in control, Swagger hits a Swagger bomb and Cesaro hits a massive footstomp. Cesaro then hits a impressive gut=wrench suplex and tags in Swagger who hits a belly to belly suplex . Cesaro returns to perform a double powerslam. Young desperation trying to tag in Titus but Cesaro drags him to the centre of the squared circle. Young hits a insiquere and makes the tag.
